The 508 metres of ribbon correspond to the height of the tallest built and achieved sckyscraper at the time the work is being made, Taipei 101 in Taïwan. The stone is there to weight the balloon that could be loosen to compete the edifice height. Height conquest being continual, the piece is destined to evolute depending on new constructions in the world (next tallest building, the Burj Dubaï is announced for 2009 with 818m).
