The USS Eldridge was the United States Navy destroyer escort ship used for the Philadelphia Experiment. In October 28, 1943 at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, the USS Eldridge, provided with equipment generating a strong electromagnetic field, has been rendered invisible for a brief period of time. The experiment was a military application of Einstein Unified Field Theory where gravity and electromagnetism are linked.
